Our story begins in 1994, the year the Veres Family immigrated to Canada from Europe. For over 25 years, we’ve worked hard to ensure that our fresh vegetables, herbs and agricultural products are cultivated with the highest standard of care in order to exceed our customer’s expectations one meal after another. Starting by selecting only the best tasting varieties and the highest quality seeds while working to minimize the use of chemical pesticides, we take freshness to a whole new level. As President of Veres Produce, Aleksandar handles the day-to-day operation of the business and is responsible for sourcing products and coordinating with vendors and local retail partners.
Vlado Veres
Founder
After immigrating to Canada with his family in 1994, Vlado started Veres Produce as a family farm in Kitchener, Ontario. Today, when not busy tending to his crops, Vlado coordinates our local delivery service.
